I tried to post a longer comment a few days ago but LJ ate it (I'm lookin' at you, Frank). Anyway, I am in awe of your Sim-fu. I never thought that you could actually build a story through open-ended gameplay -- especially not as interesting a drama as the one you've got here. 'Pleasantries' is currently my guilty soap-opera pleasure, and I'm looking forward to reading more!
