Thank you . . . actually I forget how I found your story, it may have been some indirect route through GOS or something as easily as through the slash pile. Though I confess to trolling the "friends page" of the slash pile when I can't find something to read. I keep bumping into highly personal journals that way and beating a hasty retreat but I also find great stories, so I won't complain.

As for the uniforms: the blue is traditional and it sems like it might show the details better. Maybe the black, because you like it better, but with the contrast upped less than a skosh?

I've always been a sucker for blue-black ink, myself.
