I read a lot of sim stories (and a lot of everything stories - I just read). Usually for sim stories though, I run into something to read, read everything that's up to date (and enjoy) and then go on my merry way and forget them. I don't usually go back. They were fun, but not memorable. There are exceptions and yours is the major one. Your story drags me in and itches in my head. So I have to come back and read more. That is to say, you deserve the praise. Enjoy it :)
It is also to say, if you quit writing this without some sort of conclusion and tying up of loose ends, I might have to hunt you down and murder you.
It is not to say though that I want to be you. I have my own stories to tell so if I don't, they won't get told. Which would be rather sad for them. But only you can tell your stories. However much help there is along the way, we're still very lucky you chose to tell them and share them with us. Because nobody else could have done so.
