Pictures!

First, the project I am ridiculously proud of.

pond
Mom bought the liner and the fish (there are 12 little goldfish in there). The rest is constructed out of cinder blocks (you can see a few left over laying in the back there which I haven't put away yet .. .. >.>) we had laying around taking up space and looking ugly in piles all over and boards that were doing about the same thing as the blocks. It is on our patio and the edge doubles as seating.

Now to the pics you really want to see.

the boys
The black/white one is Panda (Who was named well before he was born ... long story, involved the obsessive hunting down of bamboo). The little grey one doesn't have a name yet.

babies
Panda was the second one born. It was a bit scary for a few moments, we had trouble getting him breathing mostly because Casper had him outside mid running only moments after she had the first one and it scared the hell out of her. Poor goat. I don't think she understood what was happening, just that she hurt and things were falling out of her.

casper and panda

She's gotten over it though and Panda is probably too curious for his own good really.

Hugeberry

Blackberry remains wide ... wider? Definitely wider. That can't be comfortable. Of course she is also a little nervous about going into the barn. Things fall out of you when you go into the barn. (And I just noticed the water bucket is due for scrubbing again ... *headdesk*)

Panda and mom
Casper is okay with the things that fall out of you in the barn.

nosepets

So snuggly!

And, because I was out there and way too cute just for pics:

DO WANT! WANT NOW!

I wonder how soon she can ship them out? I call dibs on the little grey one XD.

nooooooo! You can not has.

And he will get big(ger), and my child has plans for cart goats (which should be interesting) and it might be a bit difficult to explain why your dog looks a little funny ... and why you have a second dog ...

But, if I have him I can rub it in someone's face that I have a goat and they don't because they're shit at raising animals....

GIVE ME MY VENGEANCE!

O.O I am not sure I have heard this story.

Also now trying really hard not to name him "Amo's Vengence".

You realize that now you have to name him that.

I think I do ... I must run that past the other decision makers.

[identity profile] amochan8878.livejournal.com 2012-06-25 10:11 pm (UTC)(link)
If they're smart (and they know what's good for them), they'll agree double quick to that name XD.

At this point I feel it necessary to point out my mother, who is the other decision maker when it comes to the goats, is immune to intimidation.

The intimidatable one is still mostly afraid to touch them. He was present for the ordeal and just kept moving further back until eventually he was watching from behind a window. Way too much gooze for him.

If he's still afraid to touch them, then Amo's Vengence is even more of a perfect name XD.

Mom's are, as a rule, immune to intimidation, but not to bribery....MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
