I think we share that voice that nags about unfinished things. It's been harping at me for years. And (I've run out of words? No, wait, here they come), umm, I want to say I empathize with the long years of depression, it sucks. I'm glad you finally took the step to talk with your doctor, and I'd like to promise that it gets better? But it's more like, I have longer streaks of good days than bad most of the time, and I think that's as close to "better" as I'm going to get. For others, I'm sure it does actually get better 100%, but I'm not the one to promise that for you.

Congrats with your daughter's state debut, that sounds exciting and scary, but I'm sure she's awesome!

And I'm excited to read the rest of Pleasantries (which I will have to go back and reread...) but I'm more excited to see you posting again. *huggles & lots of love*
