nah, was a very minor issue of trying to do too many things at once (again) while not having exited the game (or photoshop, or word, or a couple other things with a video playing off and on in the background) in about 3 days. >.>

Then I added more stuff to the already packed lot, moved in a bunch of sims, unfroze him and ... display error.

Quick restart and its all better now! I'm thinking maybe not the best idea to leave things that long again though.

That's when I get glitches, too. So I now shut down if I'm considering letting it sit for a while. Lately I've discovered, by timing it, that load time isn't nearly as bad as I thought it was, so my main resistance to shutting the game off is gone.
