Spammy pics of ... well mud mostly :/
RAIN! Lots and lots of rain making lots and lots of mud *grumble* but!

Meet Casper and Blackberry! 5 month old Nigerian Dwarf goats, who are really dwarf. That bottom rung board on the fence there (the one that goes ------ not the ones that go | ) that is 16 inches off the ground. Short goats! and yes, they have muddy knees :( all the construction of the house and the fence kind of turned this part of their pen into a mud pit :( anyway ....

Casper, who is terribly shy and skittish but once you get her to hold still is a cuddle monster!

Blackberry. She is the trouble maker! Into everything, not afraid to climb on you to get treats but don't cuddle her! She likes scratches, not cuddles.
K, so why I am proud of me! See that fence (didn't get a pic of the whole thing it was nearly dark by the time I was taking pictures, work with me and imagine the whole lot more of it there is ..)?
100% recycled, modular (it stands steady but can be moved as needed to give them access to fresh grass), anti goat climbable (blackberry has tried!) and designed and built (help from my sister on the nailing) by me! Yes I am ridiculously proud of myself for this. All previous attempts at construction/carpentry have been of the "Did that fall over?" "No." "Oh, so it is supposed to look like a pile of rubble then?" type.
And ...

I designed and built that too (with help from sister and Mathew types)! Also 100% recycled and blackberry climbing/head butting to be let out proof! It even has a split top/bottom door. It is as modular as the fence, the walls and floor are made of panels so it can easily be moved or added to. Plus ...

A hay box on the inside of the bottom door section (mathew constructed, kate more or less fudged the "how")! Brick in the background will be part of further goat climbing toys when I get them finished tomorrow. Today was constructing of cobblestone path to the goat house and "Goat Mountain" both out of reclaimed material (concrete chunks, large flat rocks, broken cinder block pieces, gravel, etc.) and good for helping keep hooves worn down between trims.

Blackberry would like you to know cameras are yummy. They are apparently yummier when you stand up on the person holding it. Casper was not brave enough to try it so she took her sister's word for it.
