RBPV 1 - Kind of

These first few updates are going to be of the Q&D variety just to get everyone caught up and through the really boring bits as fast as possible. So here we go.


This is the state of my Pleasantview at the start, and yes, I did forget to get rid of bin sims and a good portion of the townies ... I worked out how to deal with them though, I will show you later *giggles manically*.

The founders are starting off at the bottom corner here because it looked like as good a place as any. I will be using the more or less rules posted here with a few modifications as we go along. The biggest modification (and thing you need to be aware of) there is NO CC in my game except for a few mods (CC free aside from what is required for them to do their job) and whatever CC the sims in the challenge came with. Part of the challenge will be unlocking CC types as I go along ... I am already feeling the pain of a lack of CC clothing.



Founder #1 courtesy of amochan8878 is Alexander Harrell (lastname provided from a a random name generator. Amo didn't give a lastname so I used the same generator that will be naming all of the born in game sims ... and providing lastnames where needed). That lack of clothing and the ability to change their clothes is immediately evident. That is the formal wear the game randomly gave him ... and it hurts.



Here is Alexander getting hitched to Rosica soonptobe-Harrell (I donno what her lastname was and it is kind of really irrelivant now). Rocisa was one of the sims I made ages ago when Amo needed a bunch of random generic sims. Kind of cool that I am finally getting to use them myself! (all Random, Generic Sims used in this challenge available here).



And the happy couple making their way together into life ...



... Or, you know, to make out with one of the wedding guests who is NOT your new wife, Alexander!



Money transfered to the overseer as required by the $5000 per sim (unless it is money taken with them from their parents, but that doesn't apply yet) and their new box is complete!



And this one really is a box.



I loled. There aren't 20 sims in this hood yet. You have zero chance of that ever happening. Sorry Alexander. Rosica was smart enough to roll a want which is actually doable she just wants to max all her skills.

Now is probably a good time to mention what the two of them rolled up for careers (rule modification #1, spouses do not automatically get the same career and are subject to their own roll).

Alexander will be a toy maker which will require the unlocking of utilities. Rosica will be a business owner which will require she have crafted/harvested items to sell.



Meanwhile she gets to enjoy her new found hobby of being a foodie.



The oveseer (Julien Cooke), the other founder and a few members of the gene pool come by in the welcome wagon ...

I should probably correct that, one member of the gene pool and one former member ... sorry jeans_sim_memoirs , I kind of accidentally killed a few of your sims that were in the gene pool :( I will have to grab a few more.



The first completed painting! There will be a lot of these ... really.

Rosica explains that she was aware of the post wedding kiss with another woman ... she just doesn't care O.o



I did mention there would be a lot of painting didn't I?

... After which she promptly went crazy.



One of my mods (unofficial expansion pack really) has a bug where this window always comes up blank. There was a lullaby though.



Checking in with the pregnancy scanner confirms it ... and twins! Oh joy! *headdesk*

Seriously ... A LOT of painting.



Though one of them seems to have much more skill ...

She could check into a hospital (unofficial expansion again) .. except I haven't unlocked that yet, not until someone tops Medical and that is probably going to be a looooooong way of.

Oh and I would like to point out the time on this pic. Saturday, 6:49 pm.

Why is that important?



Because at 8:05 this happened!! *sob*.



And this pic of the wee hours of Monday morning also serves to sum up what happened between Saturday evening and Monday morning. Just swap Rosica for Alexander occasionally and toss in a few hours of sleeping and you pretty much saw it all.

In the next update we will be headed over to the other founders house which is marginally more interesting at this point.

Also, there is still a bit of room in the gene pool if anyone wanted to offer up a sim or two. I especially need girls. Really. Gods do I need girls. *cry!*
