Present and Unaccounted for

Last time at Harrell House 1 (and I only remember this because I just finished reading it :P) Rosica gave birth to quints fulfilling the "have 10 children" want ... plus an 11th because that is just the way this house works. I am warning you now, I can't tell them apart yet and the long break did not help that any. What followed was a long sequence of diapers and bottles and pain during which Stuart was largely neglected (Sorry Stuart) the house was expanded and Rosica fulfilled her Max all 7 Skills LTW. Longest sim days I have EVER played.

The quints aged up, Alexander had a fit about a toy robot Rosica left out for the children (though he changed his mind before throwing it away), Rosica and I hashed out exactly what earns the Business Owner point, Mitzi teenified into a knowledge sim with a future in Education and met her intended (Paris by winterinverona). Then Sally Tipple invited herself in and made out with Alexander. For the first time ever, Rosica had an issue with her husband's habit of kissing random women and things got ugly, though she did eventually forgive him.

Round about the time of being forgiven, Alexander headed out with the toy robot he had objected so much about to visit a witch living in the woods (she really does) and struck a deal for an as yet unrevealed spell after which he placed the robot on an out of the way shelf in his work room and warned Jason, very sternly, never to touch it.

Somewhere in there the quints aged up to child, Stuart teenified and will be unlocking the Artist career (not painter standing at the easel all day, the actual career), Wilford twirled into adulthood complete with promotion to legal secretary and, much to my dismay, Alexander and Rosica grew old together.

Whew! All caught up now? Good.

Last time at Harrell House 2 Beka started the week by miscarrying her first pregnancy. On a career front, Arron and Isiah both earned their gold badges (flower arranging and pottery respectively), Beka climbed the Architect ladder several rungs up but has not quite reached the top yet. To end the week the house was upgraded (in a big way) and Beka started pregnancy #2 at which point she aquired her new BFP (Best Friend for Pregnancy) in the form of Mr. Stinky the Snapdragon you can see in the picture up there.

Just a heads up, there are no babies in this update. I know! Hard to believe, there is every possibility something resembling a story might have snuck up on me. It is only a vague resemblance mind you. Still a challenge! Just a challenge with some story.

Last time in the Murphy households there were babies.  Amethyst and Braden got their first grandchild courtesy of Preston and Amber. Noe adopted a dog, the house glitched and Braden made a bunch of robots to make sure they had enough funds to build a new house. Meanwhile Melanie moved out and married Chesly Channing where there was yet one more baby (grandchild #2).

Also I oopsed last round. I said the Murphy team finished up with a score of 40. They didn't, because I suck at math. They actually had a score of 50.

With this update we are now at the end of the the rotations I had played ahead! Okay, not entirely true I am like half way through Darius' rotation. Point is all caught up!

Last time Arron and Isiah moved into a new house across the street, grew up immediately following which they both got a visit from the shrink, Arron married Rebeka who is now expecting and both boys made a bunch of progress toward their career badges.

Also, this is the last update for today. Heading to go actually be outside for a bit!

Picking up where the last update left off with the second ever Team Murphy household founded by Amethyst and Braden's eldest daughter Melanie and her spouse-to-be Chesly Channing.

*correction* When I actually look at the score sheet and not go from memory they have a score of 50. 1 badge+2 houses+2 utilities x 10 sims = 50.

Pleasantview now has a school. One that functions even. It still needs teachers, but since there has been 8 children born so far (with more on the way) and one position in Education is unlocked for every 5 children born I thought it was time they had a school. I am thinking I will come up with a few generic teachers who will probably not end up in the gene pool. Kind of like that one teacher you had who was older than dirt and had been there FOREVER, only these ones will have actually been there forever.

Last week the the Harrell team finished with a score of 18, Alexander got his gold toy badge, the kids grew and Rosica purchased a community lot for her business.

I have figured out what the two teams (familes, whatever) are competing for in this challenge. See that smaller block right in the middle of town? That entire block will be converted to parks (or other appropriate community lots based on the interests of the founders) named after the family and the founders.

Should be fun to build.

That being said, the Murphy clan finished out last week with one household and having unlocked utilities (sim multiplier = 2 at this point) giving them a total of 4 population.
