K, so I think I have mentioned before that most of Chapter 4 was written in February. Last February. Like almost a year ago. At the time it was being called Chapter 5 (actually it was being called "the plot bunny that insisted on being written but didn't really fit in anywhere that later became Chapter 5 when I had a story to put it in", but that is a tale for another day!)
A funny thing has happened in that year. Characterization.
Picture this. Here I am happily going along doing my thing when I read something in part 3 and I made this face
. I said that too! That face was very quickly followed by this face
and then a very long string of words that can probably be summed up best with
in the general direction of my monitor.
I have a couple of C's that are decidedly OO at the moment and need to be brought back in line.
So now you are sitting there going, "That's nice, Kate, but aside from venting (and proving yet again, you're fricken' loopy) why are you telling us this?"
Well the venting helps honestly. That aside, though. Update?
If I switch things around a bit I can do it with significantly less awkward than if I don't switch them around. It will mean this part is a bit shorter than intended and kind of just stops, while the next one is a bit longer than intended, but it will work!
Anyone interested? Work with a bit of a weird break knowing the next one is on it's way as soon as I beat Damon with a very large pixelated stick?
Sound good to everyone else?
Awesome!
Cause that is what is happening.
