Last time we saw Nigel he was packing his bags and getting the heck out of his parents house as fast as possible. Not for any actual good reason, he was just tired of cooling his heels in teenhood and eager to get on with his life. In this case "life" means moving into this black and white almost-a-box and marrying Wilhemina Drexler. (via

A quick side note, I had previously been referring to those who rolled up working at the easel "artists". Obviously this clashes with the career of "Artist". Not the same thing, thus easel dwellers will now be referred to as "painters" which both Nigel and Wilhemina are.

Last time at the Stalk Residence *takes a deep breath* Amber Dawn became Amber Stalk by marrying Patrick Stalk (courtesy of

remisims ) Preston and Amber twirled into adulthood, Vivian (Preston and Amber's daughter) aged to teen, rolled farming and met her future spouse Hector Kelley (via

amochan8878 ). *pauses for breath* Amber and Patrick welcomed their first child together, Randal, Amber fell pregnant (because at this point pregnancy may as well be a disease) and a whole lot of not much else happened including Preston making little to no progress toward his damn "20 simultaneous loves".

Not this time. Noooooo, he will fulfill that LTW if it kills us both.

Every time I sit down at the beginning of a rotation and work out the math for how many entries there will be this time around (The 7.<whatever> part) I ALWAYS forget someone or find out later I had to move out sims I wasn't expecting to and then my nicely worked out decimals are all wrong. :( It is kind of annoying really. So now I am just going to number them sequentially. 1, 2, 3 etc. We might end up with a 'Week 42.8631' (OMG, no, no we will not because I will cry. 8631 is waaaaaaaaay too many houses to be playing) but sequential it is.

Last time in the Channing house: Chesly earned his gold fishing badge and upgraded the home business with actual walls and a floors and a roof! Kari aged up to child, Claire and Colton were born and there was much fishing and sewing done.

When we last checked in with the Murphy House Braden and Alexander stepped up their rivalry to punches flying, trading insults and the stealing of invisible newspapers. Nigel and Noe grew into teen hood and met their wives to be Wilhemina and Aisy. And Braden had words of encouragement for his children about winning this challenge.

Before we move on, I feel I should drop a warning in here for innuendo, a LOT of innuendo, nudity and sexual references.

And now we go to the chapel on the hill overlooking Pleasantview where a meeting of some import is about to take place.

Soooo, I forgot that Preston and Amber were moving out when I started this round and have screwed up my numbering. Just pretend it was intentional when the next one is 6.9 k?

Just a heads up, there are no babies in this update. I know! Hard to believe, there is every possibility something resembling a story might have snuck up on me. It is only a vague resemblance mind you. Still a challenge! Just a challenge with some story.

Last time in the Murphy households there were babies. Amethyst and Braden got their first grandchild courtesy of Preston and Amber. Noe adopted a dog, the house glitched and Braden made a bunch of robots to make sure they had enough funds to build a new house. Meanwhile Melanie moved out and married Chesly Channing where there was yet one more baby (grandchild #2).

Also I oopsed last round. I said the Murphy team finished up with a score of 40. They didn't, because I suck at math. They actually had a score of 50.

*correction* When I actually look at the score sheet and not go from memory they have a score of 50. 1 badge+2 houses+2 utilities x 10 sims = 50.

I am getting these out as quickly as possible because I am getting a bit more time to play around the bird ... oh yeah, we have acquired a bird, but that is another post entirely ... and would like to get the updates as caught up to where I have played to as possible. I have played about halfway through the week 6 rotation so getting there! And then there will be more time between updates and way less update spam.

Last time the Murphy crew finished off with a score of 21 and some badly behaving teens.

Almost caught up to where I have played to!

Last week the Murphy clan maintained a not too shabby for as new as this challenge is score of 8. They can't all be breeding like demented bunnies on hormone drugs ... ALEXANDER AND ROSICA!

I should probably mention there is a ton of pics in this update because things happened. No, let me rephrase that: PRESTON happened. He had a little help from his sister but mostly it was all Preston.

I have figured out what the two teams (familes, whatever) are competing for in this challenge. See that smaller block right in the middle of town? That entire block will be converted to parks (or other appropriate community lots based on the interests of the founders) named after the family and the founders.

Should be fun to build.

That being said, the Murphy clan finished out last week with one household and having unlocked utilities (sim multiplier = 2 at this point) giving them a total of 4 population.
