OMG! I opened my game!

And it is a bit scary ...
I can't remember what I was planning to work on next when the laptop died. :( This is sadness. I have gone back and reread what I had for the next update of Pleasantries and I am just not feeling what is there ... so that will be redone. *sigh*
I still need to install that new motherboard, plugging away at getting everything extracted for that. Am a little daunted about recreating all those sims and saving all those lots and such... I keep reminding myself how much better my game will run, how much more I can do again once I get it done.
In the meantime, now that I have a bit more time, I am really missing writing. Like painfully missing writing. I was tossing around the idea today of picking up that story I was working on for S4S halloween way back all those months ago. (Speaking of S4S this forum post could use your attention!) Just to get back into writing, you know? Of course I was also thinking of finishing up the images for chapter 2 of Chasing Daylight and also writing a just plain text story ... yeah I do that too. I just don't share those. If I do, this time I will be sharing it.
I am really leaning toward Eheil and Cyril though, (the halloween story) because it is so different. No teenagers, very little angst, just straight-up, ridiculously cliche demonic fantasy. It might be good to switch gears for a bit and work on that. Also I don't have to repair that hood! It is still in perfect working order.
I guess what I am getting at is I will be writing again! Just maybe not Pleasantries first off until I am back in the groove. What has been taking all my time the last month or so?
Well ...
524 cucumbers, 1237 lettuce of 4 varieties, 83 zucchini, uncountable amounts of 6 varieties of tomato, more herbs than you would ever want to see ... and eggs.
Did I ever mention I grew-up a "farm girl"? Did I ever mention I moved back home in 2009? Yeah ... I did.
We have chickens, pheasants, turkeys, soon to be quail, and a metric shit-tonne of garden plants! Next year, mom wants to expand to ornamental plants as well. This time of year, now that I have worked out how to actually be useful around the dizzy moments and headaches is busy as hell. It has started to slow down though, things that need to be planted are, those that need to be prepped and marked for sales have been, my daughter is loving this whole "I have a job and work on commission!" thing (never underestimate the sales abilities of a 10 yo!)... and in a matter of hours we are expecting an invasion of fuzzy butts in the incubator that has been my main stress source for the past 22 days ...
Yes, I will post pictures. I always share pics of the cute and fuzzy!
It has been busy, but it has also been good. I am so ready to get back to writing though.
debbycus ! Proofing stuff coming your way tomorrow! Soon as I get about 14 hours sleep :D
