Not sure if it counts from outside the US, but if nothing else she can say it was a wide survey.
While I mainly use fabric reusable bags, I am a ditz half the time and forget them. So I use plastic but reuse them at home or take them back to recycle.
The reason is convenience really, cos I have a problem with my hands and the paper bags are too awkward and unstable.
