Every time I sit down at the beginning of a rotation and work out the math for how many entries there will be this time around (The 7.<whatever> part) I ALWAYS forget someone or find out later I had to move out sims I wasn't expecting to and then my nicely worked out decimals are all wrong. :( It is kind of annoying really. So now I am just going to number them sequentially. 1, 2, 3 etc. We might end up with a 'Week 42.8631' (OMG, no, no we will not because I will cry. 8631 is waaaaaaaaay too many houses to be playing) but sequential it is.



Last time in the Channing house: Chesly earned his gold fishing badge and upgraded the home business with actual walls and a floors and a roof! Kari aged up to child, Claire and Colton were born and there was much fishing and sewing done.

Melanie DID top sewing! I even commented on it and then completely spaced out and forgot which means I could have been fixing all of these horrible outfits for the last entire rotation! *headdesk*

Naturally I promptly went on something of a spree ....

 

... And Melanie got a new outfit! Better yes?

You totally can not sell clothing from a clothing rack at home and since I have no idea how to wrap my head around actually "sewing" an individual outfit for EVERY sim who needs one ... Melanie is just going to keep on sewing stuff and their store will have a rack.

We will pretend. *draws wide, sweeping, rainbow arch with arms* Imaaaaaaagination.

What all of this means is I totally tore down the home business and they will be buying a community lot.
 
 

I am also thinking, even after the required 10 houses to unlock utilities for everyone, solar panels will be a requirement for all houses. 2 reasons for this. 1. Mass utility unlocking requires placement of a community object and while I am okay with a water tower, I am not okay with dropping a coal plant in the middle of Pleasantview (Emphasis on Pleasant!). 2. I like the rebates.
 
 

They are still passed out on the floor and not gaining any energy. So I woke them up and actually sent them to bed.

Kari rolled up family, an unlocked career (Her highest interest was education, so teaching it is and she is now in direct competition with Mitzi to have the college named after whichever of them becomes minister of education first) and a spouse.

Because what else do you call a sewing/fish store? ... Okay I almost called it Fishy Fabrics or The Well Dressed Trout ... see, it was a good choice after all.
 
 

I would like to point out there are in fact FOUR walls here. Okay so one of them is not finished but it still counts!

Isiah stopped by because apparently he and Melanie are the best friends ever (which I was completely unaware of) and I noticed I STILL had not given him eyebrows.
 
 

So I borrowed him for a moment and fixed that. Much better, yes?
 
 

He celebrated his new eye hair addition by rubbing Melanie's stomach. *shrug*

 

Then he joined Chesly at the pond.

They stuck around for the birth of the baby though ... You would think Chesly would be a bit more interested than the random drop-bys.

He did put clothes onto go hiking, for which I am sure the local wildlife are glad. Other than that I have no explanation.

 

While everyone else was out Kari met her spouse-to-be, Greg Prime. Greg is courtesy of chillyzgrrlsims  and will be earning a living by .... I do not remember how he will be earning a living. I wrote it down ... then spilled coffee on it. Okay, really, I have played all the way through the next main Harrell house rotation and when we get to that you will understand how I forgot!
 
 

Chesly returned from hiking just in time to be creepy while Kari moves in for her first kiss.

I have decided, I hate the sparkly food. I am not too fond of the food bonus either ... is possible I have spent way too long stressing over where my sims next meal is coming from but this whole having to eat once a day thing is ... kinda boring.

 

Woot! Will get to that as soon as I bring them back from Pleated Fins which is where Chesly is headed right now. Yes, they do technically still have a home business, it no longer counts since it exists just so anything Melanie sews ends up in Chesly's inventory for easy restocking.

Back from the shop and time to jump them up a tax bracket. I feel kind of like a wish for wealth not made by a fortune sim is a bit of a waste.

And the Channing house now sprawls ... It has a feature I am absolutely in love with though!

 

Seriously, I adore that little half enclosed porch. Is it useful? Not in the slightest. Is still my favourite part though.

Upper floor has a ton of room for expanding which I think I just might need if they keep breading.

Completely unintentional feature, Melanie's sewing machine now has a window that looks out on Chesly's favourite fishing spot.

And that wraps up the week with the Channing house. Next up Preston, Amber and Patrick where I am determined Preston will get that damn LTW out of the way. But first:
