Child enabled face overlays?

genlisae(I have to get this out of the way) Oh. My. F'ing. Gods! It let me post! I have been getting this (look into the secret world of weird shit Kate has open on her computer and bookmarked on her tool bar ... or you know, just read the error) randomly since Friday. GRRRRRR! The first time I went to make this post (two hours ago) I got it again and had enough so an error report has been filed (and Apple has been bitched out for disabling printscreen functionality in Safari. I totally expect to randomly be hacked now. I am okay with this, I have a long list of further complaints to bitch them out about. Starting with the abomination that is the iMac and continuing through the increasing trend of catering to the lowest common denominator and Safari's "Send screenshot of current page to Apple" actually sending a shot of EVERY SINGLE PAGE for that browsing session. Bring it on. We can be at this for a looooooooong time.)
Now, why I was actually going to post this.
I think I saw them somewhere, emphasis on the think part. I am looking for something like the face overlays in Custom Modeling Poses Overlay Hack V2 w/Face Overlays I have TS2 Studios (the one with the paw print) and a few others (that I forgot to write down while in game and now can't remember) that do facial expressions for children, but nothing that will let me overlay them. Any suggestions? I don't work with children often. This has me a little frustrated.

Date: 2011-03-07 11:09 am (UTC)I did. *scratches head in confusion* This (http://pics.livejournal.com/genlisae/pic/000hp11t) is closer to what it usually looks like but there are still a few I haven't opened again and absolutely nothing horribly embarrassing in my browser tabs. I also only have one user account running which is incredibly rare when I am not actually ingame!
I can tell you for certain it is not caused by noscript. I don't use noscript on this computer (I do on the laptop though) and it also happens in Safari and IE, so yeah.

Seriously. How bad? I just read the first part of this (http://llama-herder.livejournal.com/) and will now be going back through all upcoming Ripp interactions with a very fine tooth comb to avoid any similarities. There aren't any! I know this, and any that are are of the "He has brown hair" variety. I have to make sure.

Date: 2011-03-07 12:17 pm (UTC)Second: you can now safely read the famous Ripp&co story, because you've already tasted the Ripp for the happy few (or not so few) that is Maybe this time, and IMHO, that actually is the most powerful of Ripp's avatars.
And btw, how dare you doubt your Ripp like that? Take example on Telesto and trust your Ripp a little more! I don't know, I'm not in your shoes, but I don't see the danger. Your story has its own dynamic.
I know I was shocked when I read your what's-it-called on the storytellers LJ. Not so much by the fact itself, read what you want, but, you know, that you should be so insecure and that ST's story should stand as such a.. heck, in french we call that a "statue du commandeur". Meaning a massive reference, so heavy that is bends your back and shoulders even though it's not actually there. Nevermind lol, just, I don't know, I was surprised :)
And I'm honoured I triggered the first appearance of the u-pic, so I guess it would be rude to admit I don't like it all that much :p Come on, I hardly recognized poor Ripp!

Date: 2011-03-07 12:54 pm (UTC)From my limited understanding of French (It has been a very long time) "statue du commandeur" (literal translation being statue of the commander?) would be similar to "poster child" meaning "one who typifies something" or in a more general and applicable sense "held up as an example of what should be".
If I have the meaning correct, then yes you would be correct. STHWC is referenced everywhere. It even has a page on TV Tropes (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/StrangetownHereWeCome). This suggests to me that there are some very powerful story elements involved in the story and I know from having it recommended to me so many times the character development is solid.
My weakness is character development. I am prone to forgetting motivations and having the characters behave very out of character. It happens a lot. I am really very puzzled when people point that out as one of the things they like about my writing. They see strong characters. I see a lot of luck and editing to get them to stay as in character as they are and they aren't always. This makes me very likely to pick up the interpretations of other writers, something I can not do because (you are getting information no one else has gotten before with this, but it is NOT a spoiler) every word from the very first word, every action, every head tilt is building toward one event.
I have so many things that I have started and not finished because somewhere along the way I lost the thread of what I was working for. I am determined to finish this one and truth be told it will be the first story longer than a few hundred words I have ever finished. I am trying to avoid things that will cause me to self-sabotage its completion. Bitchy, overly anal and incredibly fussy of me perhaps, it has become a case of needing to finish it though if for no other reason than to prove to myself I can.
Pushing aside the teal dear and way too much information now. I babble when I am tired, sorry :/ You don't have to like the U-pic. I was just surprised it hadn't shown up yet and was kind of excited when it did because it has a purpose! :D
