That was exactly the reasoning I had for the mirror (and rumors of things can be expected to carry on like this through NEXT March! 0.0 My sympathy to the LJ staff, because as the rule states, building better security just builds better hackers). I'm not going anywhere, and the motives behind the attacks only solidified that. (Actually they pretty much guaranteed I will be here and a paying member until I die or the site does. Attacking free expression? I don't fucking think so.) In the meantime though, business as usual - just with a back-up *nod*.

I have a bad feeling about Russian politics as of recent: take the case of the plane crash last year and how it's dealt with. Recently they removed a memorial plate and put a propaganda one in place ... a day before the victims' families arrived.
