I am having so many issues with this update! Between recolours that should have been there NOT being there (I didn't delete them, I just don't know where they went!) clipping I can't seem to work around and props this has been the slowest, most frustrating update EVER!

I don't know if it is my mental state (which is admittedly not good right now) RL distractions or I am just out of practice, but I have never struggled so much with the images for an update before and I hope I never do again. The set up for the sequence this shot is from? 6 hours. and I can't even explain why. Okay, yeah I took about an hour out in the middle to feed assorted critters and run to the store really quickly but that is still 5 hours and it shouldn't have taken that long!

I don't get it.

I think I am losing it.

Okay, I'm finished whining now. I am going to go finish this update and it is going to go smoothly from here out. Yes? YES!

Go back up and look at the adorable, cause that is really the only part of this post worth paying attention to :D

All that is why I don't do sim stories - the set-up is sooo hard (imo). You do an awesome job with it! And the story is wonderful, so I hope you realize readers are happy to be forgiving if it's just a bit rough around the edges. Though I'm sure it's being easy now.

Yes, I am hanging out on your page hoping for an update - not impatient, or looking over your shoulder, just hanging around :) You're a really really good writer. You have the ability (and it's a pretty unique one) to make readers feel with/care about your characters. Do you write for publication as well? If you don't, you should - though I almost cringe to say it as I'd hate to lose you from the sim writers community :)

First, wow. Thank you. No, I don't write for publication. I am not sure I ever could. I am far too moody and temperamental to play nicely with the other children who would be involved. lol. I can get away with that sort of thing with actual artwork. Writing? Not so much.

I don't usually have this many issues (thus the frustration!) Usually it all goes fairly quick and painless. This time though ... yeah, I don't know what's going on! lol.

You can be impatient if you want :D I'm getting rather impatient myself!

Naw not impatient. I like slow seductions - I know when it we arrive, it will be sooo worth it ;) And, if I remember correctly Tel once pointed out that the things most worth doing are the ones that don't come easy - so obviously this one is special. (I'm sorry for the pain, tho)

The nice thing about writing, similar to art, is that it matters not at all how you muddle through. The only thing that counts is the finished product. So you don't hafta play at all. Works for me because I'm anti-social. I've got one of those unrequited love things going on with short stories. I beg various publishers to reject me and they comply on a regular basis *g* For novels, though, there's lots more time between the let downs. That's handy.

I don't really want to convince you though, so that's all I've got to say about that!
