My BaCC is carrying on. Okay, really it is started again with an actual rule set in place this time now that I have worked out what works for me and what doesn't. Limited genepool, arranged marriages, Team Villega vs Team Talbot, 'cause who doesn't need the added "fun" of a direct competition when you still haven't unlocked electricity?

What are they competing for?

No idea. Binky and I haven't worked that out yet.



Meet Binky. And 3 of the 4 founders (the fourth being mostly hidden behind Binky there). Yes, you do know two of them. And yes, there is something of a story unfolding as I go along here. I might get to posting it if I get bored with playing.

So far my game is behaving beautifully, leading me to believe the issue I mentioned in my last post is lot size related. The BaCC rounds will be working their way up in lot sizes as I go along so if it is an issue with that I should run into it eventually.

I was about to ask why you named your founder after an house-elf, but it appears that, in canon hp, Binky is in fact Lavender Brown's rabbit, so... hello Bunny, good luck with that city building project of yours (let's pretend I know how to type an ascii bunny and I just did)!

noooo, not after an elf or a bunny. He is (brace yourself for way more history than you ever wanted) Benjamin 'Binky' Roberts a former sailor turned miner who has been living all alone for ages and ages (and ages more) a ways up the river from PV at (not coincidentally) Binky's Bend.

He arrived with Admiral Landgraab way back when and set off to seek a new fortune. It is unclear what happened to the old one, and somewhere along the way he picked up a mild case of immortality and a major case of the crazy meaning that when the development company came in and built all these roads and were talking "Housing development" in his back yard it didn't get far. Crazy old immortal guy with dynamite has a way of making that happen.

They left but naturally not before the roads were in place (... work with me on this, I am trying to make this whole "Building a new city in the middle of nowhere but there is infrastructure!" make sense). and now it is years later and Binky is kind of bored with mining and has decided maybe he wouldn't mind some company.

Yeah, way too much thought went into this set up. It scares me a little.

*giggles* n_n looks interesting. I couldn't have the patience for this, but kudos for those that do.

And I figured regarding the lot that's what it probably was. I'm not sure if I've ever had a lot that big so I can't say I've run into that before.

Patience? Yeah, not so much. There is a reason I have tossed most of the rules and reworked the few I kept. Plus all "rules" that I do have are 100% open for negotiation. (I also have a few "rule immune" sims). Because there is no point if I am just going to drop it when I get bogged down in rules.

Eyes being kept! (Unless I missed it already ... seriously, wow, my f-list is like exploding. :D Love it when people talk a lot!)

The goats are ... frustrating. now both way overdue and still waiting. *sigh* all things still looking "normal" though so we wait more.
