Return of Pleasantries!

No, I do not have my game fixed yet. It is getting a complete rebuild including all downloads as I find time and eventually I will have the hood up and running again.

In the meantime, after talking through the pros and cons with amochan8878 I will be continuing on without the pics. There are several reasons for that, the first being I miss my boys! Like all sad face, actually almost started crying when I heard a song on my MP3 player yesterday MISS my boys. And Lil. Plus there is a whole lot more story to come (20ish more chapters of story) and, honestly, the images get downright exhausting sometimes.

I'm also kind of curious to see if I can do it. I consider my biggest story-telling weakness to be scene setting. I relied really heavily on the images to do the work there. I am curious to see if I can manage without them.

The images will be returning once I get things back up and running, but I want to carry on with the story anyway and will totally understand if that doesn't work for some readers. I respect that, just like I am sure you will respect my decision to carry on anyway. For anyone who doesn't stick around, thank you for reading thus far. I have really enjoyed your feedback.

That said, there will still be the occasional image I can share because I already have them, just not in the story itself until the hood is back to functioning.

I believe in you. I think most of us should be comfortable enough with the characters that pictures shouldn't be necessary.Just see what happens. Who knows? People might like the story even BETTER! :D.

I am looking forward to more pleasantries in any medium. I believe that so far your writing has been modelled to fit with the pictures, and I think you are right when you say it will be an effort to change it to stand alone, but I think you will find it a doable and interesting challenge rather than an overwhelming obstacle, so yeah, forge ahead.

Maybe you can release an occasional picture that accidentally fits the story as it unfolds anyway? Because your pictures are gorgeous and I am sure you have a stash of them.

That is why he wears the mask. It is a little more complicated than just having a birthmark of course and Caelan is about to hit on the major issue accidentally so I will let him do that. But yes, Tybalt was hiding a port wine stain birthmark with a local fashion trend most outgrown in their early teens.

I do have a stash of pictures. A huge stash and some of them will fit the story very well especially since they were taken to ensure what I was trying to write was possible. Now that you mention it, I can drop those in from time to time and keep the story moving forward but stil a "Sims Story" just with way less images.

LOL! Nope, not kidding. Lack of pretty pics does stop some from reading, which is perfectly acceptable and I get that. And of course changing the format mid story can be awkward (I expect a world of awkward from me actually ... remaining hopeful it doesn't last long, much past the first paragraph and I am going to be so pissed with myself :/ ).

Tybalt has what has become my favourite pre-made face ever! Most of the time makeovers just don't work for him and he ends up looking all goofy and awkward, but when it works for him it works WELL! :D

Writing is suppossed to be fun, so don't dare to pressure yourself! I like pretty pictures and live for pretty pictures, but what I like more is visualising pretty pictures in my head ;) . You need more confidence, your scenes are great and you add much to the photos.

I think I've never made Tybalt handsome :( , you win.
