Being irradiated really, really sucks.
Also no superpowers. Mathew is disappointed. He had plans for a reality series/comic crossover.

To sum up what is a way longer post than I intended. The rebuild is going well even taking into account the few issues with corrupt back-ups. Things are going to look different, but shouldn't be drastically so, because I am being a lot more picky about what I download this time. I am curious if people want to see the make-overs as they happen. I will be including significantly less images when I do return to updates with the images and finally, I am probably going to seem to disappear again for a bit. I won't actually be disappearing, just not posting/commenting much because cuteness is on the way and will then need to be spoiled rotten.

Apr. 3rd, 2012 02:29 amCan I just start this off by saying you guys rock? Really. Thank you everyone who jumped in to help my daughter with her homework. Part of the issue with the question is not only is the book on the older side, but her school is based out of a major city 130km away. Most of the other children are "city kids" where I am told some stores do still have the option of something other than plastic or fabric bags. Learn something every day!
Also, because I am a dork, I found the responses fascinating.

I had a shitty week
Dec. 30th, 2011 08:08 pmTo sum up: Oven packed it in right when it was needed most, my daughters' cat died early Christmas morning, Insensitive family members have been a pain (re the cat, apparently grieving "spoils the holiday"), my computer has decided to revolt yet again by "loosing" some rather important windows files and functions (and the laptop has not had the very toast HD fixed yet ... I might just get a new laptop) requiring a reformat which is turning into an OS upgrade because at this point I might as well, and a bunch of other stuff I won't bore you with, BUT

K, so first things first. My brothers are doing okay. It remains to be seen if either of them have learned anything and will change what they need to change but the wake-up call was delivered and received at least for the rest of us. Mathew's uncle is also well, all things considered.

A week of Monday

I AM STILL BREATHING! Mostly. I didn't vanish, have a week worth of updates to catch up on and yeah ... blah, blah, blah, life and such, you get the idea.
Tomorrow. This afternoon I plan to take my daughter out to do a lot of nothing and then sleep. Just, you know, thought I would mention I didn't fall off the planet ... even if I wanted to :P
Anyway.
